Camp NeeKauNis sits on the shore of Sturgeon Bay, near Waubaushene, Ontario, welcoming people of all ages and from all walks of life. As a camp founded and run by Canadian Quakers, we strive to build a community that nurtures values such as compassion, co-operation, respect, and fellowship. Our camp sessions are 7 to 10 days long, and our groups are small and close-knit, with an average of 40 to 50 participants. Campers and staff alike leave camp reluctantly, and count the days to next summer. Once you have been a part of Camp NeeKauNis, it becomes a part of you. |

Quaker Quest is a dynamic new approach to outreach that has brought seekers to meetings all over England. It is based on the idea that Quakerism, "a spiritual path for our time," is simple, radical, and contemporary. |
In essence, Quaker Quest is a series of public open meetings on Quaker topics, which are presented in repeated cycles. The sessions follow a lively format which engages seekers intently for two hours. During each session three Friends speak briefly from the heart about the eveningís topic. Seekers then divide into small groups each facilitated by a Friend who makes certain that everyone has a chance to share. The three presenters then offer a second, shorter set of talks. A question and answer period follows. The program closes with a 30-minute Meeting for Worship. |

”Chances are you and I will never be conscripted to fight in a war. However, as taxpayers we are required to make a financial contribution to war with our taxes. Edith Adamson, [Quaker] founder of Conscience Canada, once remarked that "it only took twelve men to drop the bomb over Hiroshima, but it took millions, perhaps billions, of taxpayers' dollars to develop that bomb." As Canada continues its war in Afghanistan conscientious objection to military taxation is one tangible way to promote peace.” -- Conscience Canada CYM Ad Hoc Committee on War Tax Concerns urges all Friends and friends to support the Conscience Canada campaign for legislation to make military tax resistance legal and accessible to all. To this end, Conscience Canada has developed a Peace Tax Return form with easy-to-follow instructions that offer you three choices for action. |

QUIT is the spiritual work of Quakers to end torture. Our greatest dangers are denial and inaction. The greatest good will come by being faithful to the Light that guides compassionate work and restores our frail humanity in the face of unimaginable pain. |

What Canst Thou Say? (WCTS) is a worship-sharing group in print for Quakers with an interest in mystical experience and contemplative practice. WCTS is produced cooperatively by a group of Friends who, themselves, have felt the movement of the Spirit and who wish to deepen their understanding by interacting with others. Over the ten years of publication more than twenty Friends have been a part of the editorial and production team and hundreds of Friends in the U.S., Canada, and Great Britain have shared their stories. |
