Dear Friends,
It will be a great pleasure to welcome you to Canadian Yearly Meeting at the Augustana Campus of University of Alberta in Camrose, Alberta!

Although Canadian Quakers are spun out across 5,000 kms we are gathered through our worship and our Quaker values that are nurtured and strengthened when we are together - be they newest attender or most seasoned long-timer, youngest or oldest. Yearly Meeting is the one opportunity in the year for all Canadian Quakers who are able and willing to come together for fellowship, fun and learning. And our program this year promises wonderful opportunities!

Ottawa Monthly Meeting’s Dana Mullen will give the Sunderland P. Gardner lecture titled Belonging. Jeff Dudiak of Edmonton Monthly Meeting will lead the Bible Study series titled Radicalizing Spirit: The Challenge of Contemporary Quakerism. Continuing Meeting of Ministry and Counsel will convene a Silent Retreat Friday, Aug 10th to Saturday the 11th on the theme of Identifying the Common Ground of Our Faith guided by Ellen Pye of Vancouver Monthly Meeting.

I hope that if at all possible you will plan to join us for this wonderful opportunity for all to share our spiritual journeys as well as to attend to the business of our Yearly Meeting.
