What is Home Mission and Advancement
Committee (HMAC)?
HMAC (popularly pronounced "hay-mack") is a standing committee
of Canadian Yearly Meeting (CYM), which appoints its members
and determines its functions. The Committee reports annually to Yearly
Meeting sessions.
HMAC currently consists of 8 members, including a representative
from Young Friends.
HMAC meets twice a year: spring and fall.

Education grants
and loans

Inreach (caring
for Friends within the Yearly Meeting)
- Isolated Friends, including CYM/HMAC members (*)
- Isolated Worship Groups
- Disbursing funds to support and promote visitation, travelling
in the Ministry, and other projects.

the non-Quaker community)
- Handling public enquiries
- Outreach support (financial and otherwise) for Monthly Meetings
and Worship Groups
- Inquirer's Leaflets
